Tecnimar provides maritime pilot, transport and mooring services for arrival and departure maneuvers of vessels at the Colombian ports of Cartagena, Coveñas and Tumaco. It is registered with the Superintendence of Ports and Transport as port operator engaged in these activities, and is certified by DIMAR (National Maritime Authority) as a private maritime pilot company for the ports of Cartagena and Tumaco. Through our strategic allies, we can also provide the previous services in the port of Coveñas.

Tecnimar was founded in 1973 by Captain Jorge Dahl Restrepo to provide maritime pilot services, pilot launches and mooring services to vessels in the port of Cartagena. With the privatization of Colombian ports under Law 001 of 1991, the company began to position itself as a leading company in the Colombian piloting sector. Years later, the company started offering services in the port of Tumaco and launch services in the port of Coveñas.
